DBCi's security options create a cost-effective means of protecting your self-storage facilities. The burglar bars provide security at the top of hallway systems or above unit partitions. The wire mesh is used at the top of storage units and allows light and air flow inside of the interior hallway systems.
Mesh
A 2"x 2", 16-gauge wire mesh provides security for the top of storage units. The mesh can be installed either horizontally above or vertically between the units. The galvanized mesh is attached to the top edges of the units by mesh angles. The mesh should be used in storage units with overhead gaps that might allow entry.

Burglar Bars
The burglar bars are galvanized hat channels that provide security for the space above the top of the hallway system or above the unit partition. The burglar bar attaches horizontally to the existing support columns at 8" increments to provide additional security.
